Tom, I think it's because these 'Google geniuses' do a search for a vintage range or refrigerator, land on a website for a business that rebuilds and fully restores them and then conclude that meemaw's Tappan that was used to death, but kept in the shed since the housefire in '88 is "just like that one" (a fully restored one...) that's priced at $4K. Just like the thrift store phenomena - "These sell on eBay for $5308". No. They saw one listing with a stupid price, not sold results. OK... rant of the day over.... LOL |
