Here is a new video I made, showing 100% of the rewiring procedure for a CK-2 Monitor Top fridge. This could be applied to the CA machines as well, with minor changes.

There have been a lot of requests for this video. I've done several other videos showing rewiring as part of a larger repair, but I think those have proven confusing or overwhelming for people who are just wanting to rewire, and are not completely confident. So; this video shows only the following procedure:

-Safe removal of the control and the start-relay.

-Proper position of the cooling unit for access to the bottom of the compressor.

-Proper access to the wiring inside the unit.

-Length and size of the new wiring, and soldering to compressor.

-Usable types of terminals for the new wiring.

-Internal inspection of the thermostat and start-relay.

-Lubrication of the thermostat moving parts.

-Re-assembly.

Sincerely,

David

Hi Melvin.  Thanks; yeah it's easier to have the patience to explain each step, when you're passionate about what you're doing.
