Hi, first thank yuo for taking time out to read my post.

This washer is about 3 years old (just a few months past warranty, of course :).

We started getting the Wash/Spin blinking error a while ago, and we could just unplug the washer for 10 minutes, then plug back in and it would complete a cycle. Now, that no longer works. The washer fills fine, washes and agitates fine, but when it is time to spin and drain it stops, and this error appears. I try to manually run a rinse/drain cycle by holding down the reset button, and it drains for a few seconds, and then the error appears again. I left it unplugged overnight, and in the AM i was able to get it to run a full drain, and then error appears again.

Perhaps the belt is bad, or motor? any ideas? I attached the manual excerpt that pertains to this error code.

Thank you again in advance for taking time to read this.

Not quite sure if these machines sense tub speed or motor speed.

If the belt were to slip due to wear and stretching my thought process would be that the motor would still be abled to speed up.

But replacing the belt would be a pretty cheap and quick operation as far as I understand.

That would rule that out.

You are getting an Unbalanced error, it may be a break in the wiring to the out-of-balance switch or a bad switch, also be sure the machine is level, if the tub leans to the right it is especially likely to to this.

Do not waste your time replacing the belt, it is NOT a belt failure.
