Hi all! Recently I've just joined this website and I want to share something special with you. Yesterday I've found a Zanussi on a website called if I'm not mistaken. The machine is basically 1800rpm with the AEG style dispenser but when I looked up for the manual it said that the drum capacity was 5kg and that was a little bit strange. Anyone out there who's owned this? I'll paste a link and a picture of the machine. Cheers!

Welcome Aboard!

I see that the markings for the dispenser drawer indicate that it can be used for tablets or powders.

In the latest attempt to introduce tablet detergents over here, they arrived on the market just as HE machines were being introduced and package instructions said not to put them in the dispenser drawers because they would not dissolve during the fill. I guess the tablets manufactured at the time that washer was made dissolved faster. Our tablets had to be crushed, smashed or smushed if added to the dispenser, but worked very well as far as being low sudsing and powerful cleaning products.

Are you contemplating acquiring the machine?

Only if i could find one...

I really wanted one back in 2021 but they are so damn rare!! Even rarer than the Zanussi Timeline 7kg and Insight 8kg. And i wanted the toy AEG/Electrolux Lavamat 84950 to pretend it's a toy Zanussi Timeline. Here are some pictures with it anyway:
