Well, After 4 weeks and many calls the repairman came yesterday at 4:30. After about 10 mins says a wire to the motor was burned he had what he needed on his truck and reaired the problem, So in about 15 mins. he had the machine operation again. To my SHOCK he said there was no charge! He was very sorry that we had to wait so long for service and that if we had ANY more problems with etiher machine in the next 3 mo. they would replace the machine.. I am still trying to pick myself up off the floor! I Can't beleive this is the same company that I have all the Hell with..I told him about all the problems I have had in the past , he said that he is quite well aware and he is going to see that things
improve in this area anyway.. He them gave me his cell number and told me that he undersood that we must have our machines repaired quickly, And to call him anytime (Still wondering about that) He then told me that he had worked for Milnor and Washex and can work on our Ironer and Folder and Tumblers as well as the washers. He must be good as the Folder is sheer hell to work on .Also Milnor and Washex Train their service techs VERY good! I told him about this site and all the problems he said he is going to look and may join.. If you read this Joe , Thank You! Thank You! . If L g Can manage to turn this around they just may have something. The washers do a VERY good job and extract well . I don't like they way they go about it , but they do clean well. This will be VERY interesting to see if they will keep this up or it's just a band aid for for a nasty . Would like some of your thoughts .

WOW, free of charge. I thought I was the only one in the world of business that offered a freebie every now and then. Never has happend to me, be it LG or not.

What a wonderful friend/service tech to know! You hit the jackpot on this one.

Steve

Your Problem is Solved

I just finished reading .... I believe that you will continue to get good service because you have finally been paired up with a service technician that is actually good at what he does, enjoys it, and cares about his clients.
I have had very good luck with service technicians, especially the last one for my Bosch who seems to care like yours does... I am wondering where you purchased your LG?

Do you have to call an "800" # for service with Best Buy as you do if purchasing from a Lowes or Home Depot or Sears? I
still have a private appliance dealer locally with on site service technicians and keep hoping that they will stick around another 50 years. This place is great...to look at it from the outside, you would think they were a second hand appliance store, but go inside and there staring at you is a $2000 Miele right next to a $200 GE and they can order any brand sold in the US. It is an old fashioned business with hand written receipts and great old fashioned customer service. It is just a pleasure doing business there.

Hi Lee,
I am happy you got this great service after such tourtoure. Maybe with all the yelling and the fact that you have other possible business prospects being you have a laundry factory at this location it might have made them display a better attitude. I still don't know what I am going to do about my issues. I just hope mine stays fixed. It's almost like we ran out of options and depend completly on the service. By the way was anything discussed about the machine that leaks?
Keep me posted.
Peter

Calling Best buy for service

NO , That is one of the drawback of buying thru B B Commerical you cannot call them for service you must call the mfg. They will not help on any commerical account for service. This is one of the reasons I think they sell commerical so low.
