A medium load of medium to heavy weight cottons washed on the complete Regular cycle with full final spin in the 10 year old SQ front loader when put through the Miele resulted in between 2 and 3 cups of water extracted before drying. I was surprised. In the summer, when laundry is dried in the outdoor gas dryer, I don't bother with a Miele spin, but use it when drying laundry electrically and returning the heat and humidity to the house during the heating season.
