Washer appears to be TOL. Don't believe dryer is a match. Dealer priced.

It is a early A806 since it doesn’t have the separate wash and spin speeds selections. I believe Maytag kept the A806 like this from 1966 to 1968 and went to the separate wash and spin speed selections in 1969.

I saw those when I was surfing through Craigslist just to see what there was, and they are asking a lot of $$$$ for a mismatched set. If it were to be with a matching DE/DG806, the asking price would be more reasonable.

Welcome to Southern California. The dealer probably charged the owner a couple hundred bucks to remove them.

Washer dates somewhere between 1967- Nov 1968. Transmission at minimum needs a full teardown to get that old oil out of there.

Dryer is that rare non-halo-of-heat but with the older console. 1977ish.

I wouldn't call it rare. Typical console used on all 08/09 dryers from 1976-early 1980.

One year only sunglow HOH dryer console from 1975 would be considered rare.

Yes, "sunglow HOH dryer console from 1975"  that's what I was thinking of.

I knew this was built in the later 70s.
