Hello.
I'm hoping that some of you folks that are more knowledgeable than myself can help me out again. I have a early 80's Eaton's Viking dryer and washer. These are GE units private labeled for the Timothy Eaton's department stores in Canada. I tried to do some laundry in the washer and discovered an issue. The washer will not fill or agitate in any cycle, but it will fill rinse water, spin, and drain in all cycles. This lead me to believe the fill valves and other systems are working, but that the timer may have an issue. I know full well, unfortunately, that parts are getting scarce. Are there any ideas about the cause of the problem, and suggested solutions? I have included pictures of the timer, as I know there are a few versions. Thank you.

Can you post a pic of the tech sheet to the washer?

If it fills with cold water on rinse but not cold water on wash then I am inclined to say it is indeed a timer issue. Typically a different set of contacts in the timer energize the water valve during washer compared to rinse so the machine will be able to fill with warm/cold instead of the selected wash temperature like hot/warm.

Hello Chetlaham. Thank you for your response. I apologize for the delay getting you this picture. The original information disappeared years ago, but someone else on the site provided me with this one. I hope this provides the information you wanted.
