Someone cut the plug off... I usually take that as a bad sign...

In what way is that a bad sign to you?

Some Goodwill thrift stores cut the plugs off some appliances. (rolling eyes) I don't know if it's the stores policy or the communities. bizarre.

It doesn't mean the item doesn't work.

Cutting cords/plugs

Its a liability issue because we have so many stupid people in the country these days that would buy something vintage with a frayed cord, take it home and plug it in either shock themselves or start a fire in their house. Then proceed to sue the place they bought it from and potentially win with todays screwed up laws. By cutting them off it lets them off the hook. They can say they couldnt test it etc so are selling it as is because they dont know its condition, etc. No promises made. Pay your money, take your chances kinda deal. What you see is what you get, nothing more.

That price seems crazy high for an untested washer with cracked glass. If anyone wants it, It's probably 15 miles from my house, and I have a 641C Dryer that I'm pretty sure would match that I'd be willing to part with!
