That is a Design & Manufacturing (D&M) made machine. They would put anybody's name on them: Kenmore, American Kitchens, Frigidaire, Norge, Bradford (Grants), Whirlpool, Admiral, the electric Preway, Chambers and others back in the late 50s-early 60s when dishwashers, especially portables, were really taking off. This model has a really poor top rack, especially compared to the GE's and no detergent dispenser other than a flush out type stainless steel funnel that hung from the top rack, but giving credit where credit is due, the American Kitchens machine of the mid 50s was the first to have a rotating upper rack making it hard to block water to things in the upper rack. It was not driven by the little dildo sprayer that appeared in the late 50s or early 60s, but just by the spray from the impeller.

The lid springs are shot and it looks like the racks are missing.

I am sure this has been up for sale for a couple of years...  with no racks, though, that's hardly surprising.
