This baby is n-i-z-e!  Kinda pricey but I guess you get what you pay for maybe.

I'm guessing that the 2 oven doors need to be switched - the handles should match those on the storage drawers.

$1700 in Medina, OH

I sure would like to know how and why the oven doors got subjected to a switch, which someone was clearly asleep at.

The Greatness that was Hotpoint before assimilation

That stove is exquisite. Why, oh why, can nobody today produce a stove like that?

Great example of a 50s hot point range

It’s hard to say but hot point might’ve deliberately put the doorhandles on that way as an unusual styling twist.

The outer door panels are interchangeable but you’d have to disassemble them to reverse them. The inner part of the door is not the same.

Hot point still maintained some of their own features and styling at this point but this essentially was a GE range nearly all functional parts of the same. And overall I think GE styling was a lot cleaner and better less clunky looking in this.

Nice town too!

I've visited Ormandy's on Market square before.

Looks like this model had a RR sensitemp unit - the element that could be used with a thrift cooker or raised to the surface. I don't remember seeing that on any other GE built range. Seems that would make it more trouble prone. Wonder how well it worked?

Left rear that is!

Very nice range. If it were Seafoam Blue (and less expensive) I might be going for it. As to the door handles, the included ad shows them in the correct position. Evidently someone disassembled the doors and switched the panels, but see no advantage to do so.
