I had a friend in HS who had this one at home. The house was built in 1964 and had an all-GE kitchen in coppertone. I was sooo envious of that kitchen; especially when I went home to our pink Hotpoint kitchen.
$225 in Columbus, OH.

A family friend, Glenna C., got a GE Mark 27 range in Shaded Coppertone in '64. It was a more deluxe model, with a window, and wall mounted controls. |

I would want to take a good look at the porcelain on the floor of that oven, when you wrap a rack in foil like they did at the top it off and destroys the porcelain under the bake element because it gets so hot because you’re blocking the heat from getting to the thermostat sensor.
You should never cover A rack with foil like that it can cause serious damage to the oven, models that have windows it can often cause the window to shatter. John L |
