Kenmore Pair

When the Norge15 decided it wanted to cause the lights to severely dim, make a loud pop and bang, and proceed to start smoking at its young age of 6 years, I got the impression my parents had decided to let me pick the new washing machine. I began watching for the mid-week Houston Chronicle Sears ads. This washer in the above ad was on sale for like $299 or $279 and it had everything I wanted for a washer that wasn't programmed. I knew I would never convince them to get the LK I really wanted. And as far as I was concerned, thi was it. And off we went to Sears. I zeroed in on this model. Mom seemed to be "ok" with it but.... Next thing I know, she's hanging out by the Kenmore 800 and it was what she wanted. Then I started asking the salesman QUESTIONS that kep coming forth. By the time we were through with the purchase and had gone another store or 2 in the mall and exited back through Sears, we ended up with 3 or 4 samples of Sta Puf fabric softener thanks to all my interest and questions. My dad told me later he was quite impressed iwth me.

Checkrate/Likes 1 This would be a fairly rare �72 model. They must�ve been gently used first of all because the washer is still there and secondly because that plastic one year only handle on the dryer is still intact. I like them!

Checkrate/Likes 3 This set has made it to it�s retirement home this afternoon in southeast Texas. Just in time for their 50th birthday which comes in April according to the original paperwork that accompanied this set. The owner was great and really happy that the set his grandparents bought new in 1972 was going to a good home. Thanks Lawrence for posting these. The owner was intrigued as to how someone so far away discovered the ad.
