I have never understood why those machines had such short washes and unless you got a fairly deluxe machine, it only had one wash because of no electrically operated detergent dispenser. I wonder what kind of people GM hired to design their DWs. Beautiful kitchen, BTW. |

Tom, the only time I saw a open dispenser Frigidaire was for the Deluxe Spin Tube models. And looking at a tech talk for 1964 with this new line, the basic model only had the open cup too. With the S series that was mentioned in a 1969 tech talk, all but the Imperial/CI models with 3, the other front load models, including BOL, had the typical 2 cup design.
