Hi! Can you tell me the date of manufacture for my KitchenAid dishwasher, model number KUDI21DS2? I bought my apartment 6 months ago and love the dishwasher. It looks ancient. I’m just curious as to how old it is. Thanks in advance!

Jeebus, if a 1987 is "ancient", I guess my 56 GE in the WonderKitchen is "paleolithic"....  LOL

Ancient is relative to ones age and opinions.

I get a lot of comments driving my 1984 Toyota pickup about how "old" it's. I drove 50's, 60's and 70's cars as a teen in the 90's so a vehicle with front disc brakes, power steering, and multiport fuel injection seems very modern by my standards.

I suppose the a 1987 appliance is vintage now, but I'd call your GE kitchen "golden era".
