Yesterday I picked up a Whirlpool LER4634EQ2 that wasn’t drying. Tested everything with a multimeter and found that the heating element was bad. I bought a heating element kit. It’s non-OEM. So, would it be wise to replace the fuses and thermostats as well or just leave the OEM parts on there until they go bad?

I’m a big fan of OEM parts personally.

FSP

Me personally, I wouldn't put anything in a Whirlpool product unless it has "FSP" printed on it.
