In Tread 14051, Dick_S says he bought two Horton valve CO2086-4 N3042 10W. I am looking for one to buy but cant find one anywhere. Is Dick_S still around? His username isnt highlighted.
Sorry if I am posting incorrectly but I think I read the instructions right and this is where I am supposed to be.
Thanks,
Dan

What machine are you looking to replace a valve in?

It is a 1962 Frigidaire Model WCDAS

So, thankfully you're looking to replace the water valve on a 1-18 Frigidaire, rather than an earlier solid tub Frigidaire with a metered timed fill.  Finding replacement valves for a metered time fill Frigidaire is a bit tricky.  1-18's regulate based on the pressure switch so the rate of fill isn't as critical.  Frigidaire valves also use a flange mount rather than a long style mount (these are my descriptors, not sure if these terms are widely used).

There are several out on ebay that would work for you.  This is just one of many (it would require the solenoids to be swapped from the old to the new).

Good luck!

Ben
