My grandparents’ 1975 Maytag A107 finally decided it was time to call it quits this past week. I always wanted it to be mine someday, but my dad purposely didn’t tell me because he thinks I’m a junker. After unsuccessfully trying to track it down after the haulaway, I was wondering if anyone knew of an A107 for sale? I’m located part time in western MA, and the other part in northern VA. Thanks!

If you want the washer out of pure nostalgia it shouldn't be too hard to find since it's a bottom of the line washer. For real world use, I'd recommend a larger capacity machine with 2 speeds...a 606 or 608 at minimum. An 806 provides the most options and best flexibility in the 24 year span of center dial goodness. |
