I came across this set, they came in working however the washer definitely needs some love. Belts are old and the idler is squeaky. Cosmetically the set is in “poor” condition. Only some rust on the underside of the lid but the whole set is really dirty and looks very used.

I don’t know what to do with them. They are too rough for me to want to restore, nor do I have the time.

Do I:
Part out?
Sell as is?
Scrap them?

These would be from about 1987. I’d sell them as is and maybe someone would be interested in keeping them going.

I’d love to have them!

Too bad that they are in a different country.

These look very similar to the kleenmaids that we got, just more luxury.

I saw that dryer in the scrapyard this weekend.....

I would try to sell them as is.

When did speed Queen make the switch to plastic agitators?

My friend Bob is taking them in. I’m doubtful he will put them in his collection but he can redo them and sell them to one of his many landlord customers

Glad to hear that these could go to a new home, I'd personally hate to recycle both of them.

Beautiful machines! Can't wait to see when Bob fixes them up. Maybe you can make some vids of it when he is done with them? I'd love to have them ;)
