It's been a while since I've written on here, but there's something I would like to know about the washer that was featured on the full-size pair that was shown. On the water temperature selector, it shows H W C on the panel. I'm assuming that it would give you a choice on selecting your temperature for the washing part only. On the rinsing part, was the water temperature cold, like it is on my current 22-year-old Kenmore that I have now? Years back, I had bought that electric dryer used and had it for a while until it had broken down, and I couldn't repair it anymore. Oh well, it was a good dryer while it lasted. I wish I could have had the washer; it seems like it was a good sturdy machine that was simple to use. If I had a choice, I definitely would choose that pair, over what they make today, and I don't mean maybe.

Probably Hot/warm, Warm/cold, and Cold/cold.  Or could be Hot/warm, Warm/warm, and Cold/cold ... with the Permanent Press cycle hard-wired for cold rinse with all wash temperatures, otherwise the cool down would be useless.

I never knew of aa Kenmore that did a cold rinse hard-wired when temp knob only offered H/W, W/W, and C/C. Now my GE Filterflo, that was a different matter when warm rinse was set on PP.

So probably H/c, W/c, and C/c?  Doesn't seem likely there's no choice for a warm rinse at that timeframe but the description says "permanent press cycle with gentle cool-down rinse" so that'd need to happen at all wash temp choices.

I think the machines of subject were made in like 1970-1972 or so? If that's the case, the three temps would have been H/W, W/W, and CC. At best W/C rather than W/W. My parents got a 1976 center dial Model 70 washer for weekend home. It had H/W, W/C, and C/C wash temp options only. But buy 1976, energy savings were more important.
