What's up with this one?  It appears to be 100% refrigerator, but then again, it looks like the full width drawer could perhaps fit up at the top and serve as some kind of freezer, and the tray would fit below it for meats or whatever.  Not enough plain old easy-to-see shelving for my needs regardless of the intentions that went into the interior's design.

Is that a butter keeper in the bottom of the door?  SMH.

Looks like all-refrigerator--Gibson originated that design and advertised it--mid 50s I'd guess. Swing-out crispers (to clear the compressor in back) and cold-plate (look ma--no defrosting!) No idea what the butter-conditioner looking thing is (can't believe they'd have milady on her knees getting out the butter three meals/day).

And a little google-fu....that's a "bacon conditioner". This was an early Gibson Market Master...

Thanks Jamie!

Who knew bacon needed conditioning?  Just keeping it in the meat drawer always worked fine for me.  Butter is a whole 'nother story.
