Hi David hopefully you’ll have fun with these they look like they’re low use machines so they’re probably still quite usable.
Speed queen washers of this era were kind of crude and Noisy , you can tell they were primarily made to be a commercial laundromat machine where people didn’t care about the noise and performance that much. They’re one of the few machines of this time period that actually make a Maytag washer look good performance wise. The dryer is quite rugged it’s a little smaller than a Maytag or a 29 inch whirlpool but it’s a little more durable than a Maytag dryer of the era. We have lots of parts for them if you have any problems with them let me know . John L |
