Hello all. I'm looking to buy a vintage 50s/60s washer dryer set for personal use. I'm located in WV but can travel a couple hundred miles in any direction. As much as I'd love to find that turquoise or robin's egg blue, or maybe even that perfect pink set I'm open to whatever may be available out there as long as it hasn't been abused.

I look on facebook marketplace daily and scour my local yard sale/estate sale pages as well. I came here on a recommendation from someone in one of my vintage appliance groups.

I currently own and use daily a 50s Tappan Deluxe gas range and a 50s Kelvinator. I'd love to add a usable washer & dryer to my line up.

If you know of or see anything for sale in my general area please let me know. I appreciate you help and have enjoyed looking at everyone's beautiful photos of their machines!! I hope to be able to share some of my own soon.

Attached are photos of my current kitchen situation.

Welcome Brooke! We’re always posting machines here for sale mostly from classified ads. Most washers built before the mid nineties are going to need a major rebuild to go into daily use even if you are told they are in working condition when you find them. There are a few of us here that rebuild our own and some that sell them from time to time. We’re always here to answer questions or even help you troubleshoot if you are a little handy.
