I have KM with the top lint screen, 29" dryer with a two piece front panel.

One nice thing about this front design is I can use my stethoscope to pin point noise when the dryer is running because the front of the drum is still supported. Anyway, I've found the left rear roller is making some noise - right side has none.

As you all know, that left side roller is mounted lower in the case so maybe it ends up carrying more of the drum load? My question; is it acceptable to replace just that one rear roller and not the other one - so long as the other one spins free and makes no noise ?

(I am also putting in a new rear drum seal as it was showing signs of wear)

I would replace both of them. I recommend using only genuine OEM FSP Whirlpool parts. Roller kit is 349241T.

I like the two piece front panels on these dryers also.
