Mallory and Kingston Timers Are completely interchangeable on MT DC washers if you have the correct timer.
We used to get referrals from our parts distributor often when they sold a timer to a customer and they tried to return it saying it does not fit or work. I would go out and install it with no problems.
MT used both interchangeably and did not give you a choice when you needed a replacement timer.
The Kingston timers had a smother feel, but the Mallory timers were more durable and even more repairable.
