The Lux is a Silverado. Hose is aftermarket and Power Nozzle has lost it's wrap around bumper. Parts are getting more and more scarce for these older machine, but a good vac shop can still service them! A Lux center can do even more! A new Lux hose isn't cheap! |

I agree with Greg here, but it's also a WAY better option to fix it up rather than buying a new Aerus/Electrolux canister. A brand new Lux canister in my humble and honest opinion is just WAY too overpriced for what they are. What you could do is you can contact Aerus Electrolux of Richmond, Virginia about shipping your whole Silverado out to them. And have them completely clean it up, lubricated, serviced, and replace any worn or broken parts. I just know that they do a fantastic job of restoring these old Electrolux canisters:)

Check this thread out on vacuumland.org, a user had his Lux rebuilt by an Aerus dealer and it looks like brand new now!
