It's just the white-on- version of their all black 80s/90s panel. It's not very common.

I believe this was also a GE Profile dryer as well. This dryer is Extra Large Capacity meaning that it has a 6 cuft drum. And it should be fully featured as well. I remember seeing this model with the matching washer back in the day.

That extra large capacity dryer had the bumped out rear of the drum and the heating element below the drum.

I remember that GE's 31" wide dryers had the problem that they were equipped with the same sized blower as the conventional models so they were comparatively slow at the job.  Did these have a more powerful blower to move air in the larger drum?

Extra Large Capacity Dryers

Generally have the same size heaters and gas burners blowers etc as the regular capacity dryers.

The largest models are only 15 to 25% larger, the purpose of the larger drum is to allow larger loads and more room for clothing to fluff up and reduce wrinkles, but they are not generally faster, electric dryers are limited in the US to about 5,600 watts by convention.

In any case the largest dryers are never slower drying the same load.
