Appears to be the model washer my dad's aunt and uncle had. I recall the 6 numbered water level choices. The dryer looks to be a bit newer model. |

I bought these! They are every bit as gorgeous as they looked in the pictures. They were dropped off just as it was starting to get late, so tomorrow I’m looking forward to giving them a good cleaning, and then buffing with automotive polish.
So far the only problem I can see is a hole in the lint screen. Does anyone know where I might find one, or if it is possible to replace the screen in the frame myself? Model number on the dryer is LXI7401A0, and washer is LVA7700A3. Also if anyone can point me to the instruction manuals or copies of the same, I would be grateful. I searched on eBay, but so far have come up empty. |

Thank you so much for the lint screen number & the information from the model numbers. I spent the day cleaning them. Absolutely amazing condition - mainly a bit of lint inside the dryer, and some general grime in the nooks and crannies of the washer. Under the tub of the washer, I noticed a bolt was missing. Attached is a picture showing it. Should I be concerned? Put one in there? I’ve also attached pictures of both tags.

Thank you Repairguy! I’m not as limber as I used to be after breaking my back, so I didn’t realize exactly what it was.
I cleaned up the tiny bit of grunge on the washer yesterday, and rust converted, then primed the corner pieces under the top. Painted them today with a nice matching gloss grey, and tomorrow I will do the avocado. I know it won’t be seen, but it will never be as easy as now, and it will keep it nice. There are no chips at all inside the washer drum, which was a wonderful thing to find. Whoever owned this took care of it like my mom and grandma. Clean every time, car wax every 6 months, and vacuum the inside regularly I’d guess. One more question for the group. Does anyone have a part number for the rubbery cone that I’ve circled in the picture? It seems to help the top seat firmly and I have only one left. Thanks and have a good weekend! Tammy

Hello again! I finished cleaning and waxing the washer and dryer today, and everything looks just lovely. Can’t wait to hook them up and do a test run. Still searching for manuals or an instruction book.
Hoping one of you delightful people can give me a hand with a search term for the little rubber pads in the picture below. They fit into the washer lid on either side and keep it level, and are almost completely rotted. Thank you, Tammy

Thank you very much DADoES! Putting in an order right away. Then going to try to figure out a way to run off a clear copy of the breakdown diagrams from AppliancePartsPro, in case they go away. My eyes are too bad to read print very well, but I can muddle along with a magnifying glass and an LED headlight if needed.
Regards, Tammy |

Excellent find!
The white strip below the control panel almost looks like a plastic light lens and makes me wonder if there is a fluorescent light inside. Have you inspected the inside of the control panel? They're almost like the set the Brady's had. That silly Bobby, adding way too much detergent but who hasn't had the same result as shown in the video. Mrs. B asks Alice "did you leave it on Automatic"? Was there a manual mode option? CLICK HERE TO GO TO bradfordwhite's LINK

Washer is finally installed! I’ve done 2 loads of rags so far, and I’m just so pleased. Got it leveled between first and second load. Quite quiet, fills up FAST, and washes very quickly compared to the Fisher and Paykel Aquasmart WL26CW1 I had before. Dryer will happen sometime in the next week after my back stops killing me. Luckily I have a few boxes of lidocaine patches and some edibles so I will sleep well tonight :)
I had a washing video to add, but evidently I’m not smart enough to figure that out :/

Videos must be placed on an online sharing service and linked into your post. They can't be uploaded directly into a post as can a photo. Majority of people here use YouTube for videos. The site software recognizes standard YouTube video URLs and automatically embeds them into the post. You'll see (and can play) the video in the post preview if it embeds correctly. Best to do the post on a computer, YouTube may recognize mobile devices as such and code the video URL accordingly, which doesn't always embed properly. |
