Since those Speed Queen dryers run quite hot, it probably burnt out the thermal fuse or something and that’s likely the cause on why it’s not heating. Speed Queen dryers are well built, but should consider on redesigning them since they can run quite hot and will make things extra crispy on high heat. Definitely would put a 18,000 btu orifice in the burner to make it a bit gentler and yes that would increase the dry times but one trade off is it wouldn’t be as harsh on clothes.
