Nice find!

I remember when those were being sold all over the place, especially in stores dedicated to selling microwaves like Microwave Cooking, etc. in this area. I have a similar one without the garage door on the bottom. It held the Farberware Turbo Oven below while the Amana rode on top. They were quality-made pieces. I guess I bought it in 1979.

Tom, I have one exactly as you described. I bought mine spring/sumer 1978. Hard to believe it's 44 years old. It had to be able to accommodate my gargantuan 1.5 cu. ft. Litton Meal-In-One. I think I bought this stand at a Microwave Cooking store. I also inherited a couple of Pyrex pieces my dad bought at the Microwave Cooking store. The microwave stand is still used today. The upper shelve is perfect for my cmpur display and keyboard. The lowwer shelf is for my printer and system box.
