 The info sheet, which is tied via different .pdf file names on ALL the Additional Resources - From the Manufacturer link choices, references laundrylux.com as the warranting manufacturer. The About Us info there references Swedish Wascator, which became Wascomat in North America, which was bought by Electrolux in 1973, then became Laundrylux circa 2007. | ||

Documentation says four cycles. Normal Cold, Normal Warm, Normal Hot, Delicate. Normal cycles are LOW wash fill, full cold agitated rinse. Delicate is cold with higher wash fill and reduced agitation (whatever that means, either action or time or both), and a full rinse. Heavy Duty option increases wash time, not available on Delicate. Extra Rinse option. Manager service mode programming options for shower rinse on all cycles to lessen water usage, or a forced additional Rinse on all cycles. Low and High fill levels can be adjusted in service mode. Setting the service mode additional Rinse, plus selecting the user Extra Rinse option may provide three rinses but that isn't explicitly stated. On-Premise version (not coin-op) has a Rinse and Spin by pressing Extra Rinse without first choosing a cycle. | ||

normal cycles I'd use either of the 3 normal cycles depending on what color I'm washing. What is the time for the normal cycles at factory default? | ||

Haier is making "commercial" washers for Laundrylux? How do you know that? I can't find anything about it offhand, but then I can find very little on that particular washer. | ||

The Encore's agitator and basket are reminiscent of F&P (which is owned by Haier since 2012), including the plastic basket base with bumps around the perimeter.

2.9 cu. ft. (82L) (Click on any of the "Additional Resources" on the link above for the specs.) I would guess it cleans about as well as any top loader with a standard (not dual action) agitator, but I don't know of anyone with actual experience with it, or its Haier sibling if there is one. | ||

I've seen those Encore Washers labeled Haier for residential sales, but only the front load version. Wascomat markets them but there is no claim to making them. | ||

The thing is that on the LaundryLux website they dont show the top loaders or maybe I wasn't looking in the right place there. Didn't Haier come out with residential laundry some time ago that had this agitator ? For some reason I remember seeing that the agitator is actually an "Agipellor" where it moved at high speed to achieve the wash action needed. The wash basket hole pattern is the same that they used in those machines as well.
