What are the differences between the surgilator types for whirlpools? I think there where super surgilators, surgilators, and super surgilators double duty. What are the real differences between them if any? |

Original Surgilator had the three large lower fins aligned with the edge of the skirt. Super Surgilator extended the fins slightly beyond the skirt. Double Duty Surgilator was used only on 18lb models and aligned the fins with the skirt but added three upward-curved wings to the edge of the skirt between the fins. The above applies to vintage belt-drive machines. Direct-drive had other variations. |
