Hi All

I am at the point where i am putting the transmission components back together. I have run into an issue where the basket spin shaft assembly sits too low and when i pulled it out again to have a look i noticed the new one seems to be missing a bushing type thing.

See pictures below new vs old. (the new one looks clean and the old one is the rusty one)

I have tried to separate this but it doesn't seem to come off, looks like it was pressed in. and the new one didn't come with one.

Is this another part i need to buy?

Whirlpool belt drive T bearing

This bronze T bearing is supposed to lift out of the bottom of the clutch assembly, but due to rust inside the tube it may be stuck.

If you put some penetrating oil down the The inside of the spin tube you may be able to take a vice grip pliers and work this bearing out of the spin tube, if it’s in bad condition you might need an additional part but you can probably reuse it by cleaning it up and lubricating it.

OK i have tried with vicegrip pliers and was unable to get it out. I would be able to get it out with a press but i am not going to buy a press to get it out because the part probably only costs a small amount.

does anyone know the part number for this bearing?. it is scored anyway i would prefer replace it.
