That's because it is at hot point with the GE brand label on it It's the portable version of the dishwasher that was in my house Built-in July 1984

Serial decodes to January 1974 or 1986 or 1998 or 2010 or 2022 .... so presumably 1986.

Not only a mediocre performer that makes a lot of noise but is is almost guaranteed to leak at the front corners of the door and the trip shaft seal on the pump.
