Many of you know my dad serviced appliances most of his life. He passsed away several years ago. We lost my mom about a year ago.

We bought their house this spring, and are in the process of doing some remodeling. Pulling some original kitchen cabinets today, I found a few letters that had slipped behind the cabinet. One was still sealed in an envelope. Never opened. I thought I would post it here, for some enjoyment. "Unprecedented consumer interest" in them old Norges! Lunch is at noon.....

Kenny, thank you so much for sharing that with us. But you know it's particcularly poignant for me given we had the DispensoMat Norge15 arrive at our house December 23, 1963.

The Norge was a very good washer. Loud, but good. We had a 1969 wards, it cleaned anything thrown at it. As good as it was, it only lasted about 8 years or so. Huge capacity.

Thanks for posting. I would’ve liked to attend that training class. Norge laundry is one of my favorites for sure.

No, not steel cabinets. These are wood cabinets, look to be assembled either in the house, or on premises. Nothing special about them, lots of plywood used in the construction. House is a ranch built in 1961.
