I just got back from Sears and saw the new colors available!!!!!!!!!!1)Pacific Blue, which is a dark hue of blue almost like their old Safire color from the 60's.2)champagne almost like the old Frigidaire Doeskin or Whirlpool's toast color.5) Sedonia,A beautiful sourt of burnt orange color. What a treat it was to see the display and get the broschure. They redesigned the drawes and now include a deeper shaft to fit bottles better as well as an adjustable slide shelf to cover the detergent and additives and place your laundry baskit onto to load and unload. The windows are more visable too no longer that invisible black.Very impressive,Very expensive $1499 washer,$999 electric dryer,$200 riser/drawers.But beuuty is never cheap.

I saw these things too!

AWESOME! I want to find out more, as I'm considering replacing my current units, and want to go with front loaders. I looked at the LG's at Best Buy, nice rigs, but those pedestal drawers are simply too shallow.

Sign me up for Pacific Blue as well :)

Doggone it though, too bad washer/dryer cabinet design didn't steal an idea from the range/stove designers...the empty side cabinet for storage. Sure, it makes the appliance wider -- but practical space, usuable without having to bend as deep.

John, I've seen accessory shelves on wheels, but they're not made by the appliance manufacturers. All you need to do is install the washer and dryer with a bit more space in between and then roll one of these shelf units in between them. Good place to store detergents etc., and roll out for use when needed. Also more space between units means easier to clean around them, reduced likelihood of vibration noise from contact between units, and better cooling during operation.

I think it's great that colors and I mean real colors are coming back to appliances. I think the world has gotten so sick of white, especially monochromatic white appliances, that the appetite for colors has been whetted. The colors are beautiful, too, might I add.
