Our next door neighbors had that Philco set in chiffon yellow. They were on the 1915 glassed-in service porch (the multi-paned windows did not open) which faced our house, and I had an unobstructed view from my upstairs bedroom windows. They had a side yard with a sunken garden that separated their property from ours, but I could still hear the dryer making a somewhat erratic squeaking noise from my bedroom -- for many years. Thanks for the memories! |

Bob Yes this dryer is from the 1960's - Not sure the exact year - Haven't had a chance to see if there is a model number that is readable yet. I'm very excited to have this dryer and hope that one day it will be up and running again. BTW - It's GAS Bob |

Nice save, Bob! Looks to be either a DG-634 or DG-632 (TOL 636 had a full chrome porthole door). Tough to tell the difference without seeing the control panel.
