Kathy Anderson loves Mother's new Westinghouse a little too much (Father Knows Best S1E07 - 1954)

Nice subtle advertising in this episode wink I wonder if when it aired originally Westinghouse sponsored it. Watching this show a lot lately in the afternoons, thought I'd share the Westy sighting

However, notice how they seemed to have blocked out the word "Laundromat" on the door under the handle? The machine is so pretty and new and no rips or cracks in that door boot lol!

If you look at other episodes in that period, you will notice that all of the appliances are Westinghouse. After that period, the appliances were Bendix/Admiral. This change is most readily seen in the range and laundry equipment. Unlike so many sitcoms, the range gets heavy use with the controls for the surface units and the oven switched on and off, even by Robert Anderson.

He must have got a divorce or something but he did have an adult daughter when he was Dr. Markus Welby in the 70s. Wonder what happened to the mother and son? lol
