Hey guys, I wanted to ask the question what washing machine would you get if you had the means to from any country in the world? For me, It would be one of them round washing machines from Mexico the Chaka Chaka ones, the Pakistani made “easy“ style washing machine or something from one of the former eastern bloc countries

Photos will be attached of those machines in mentioned order

What about you?🫵

PS, the reason why I said “easy” was because the agitator looks kind of similar to some of the easy branded machines

My Miele

I'd like one of those older Miele washers with the backsplashes and heated water like the one that introduced me to Mieles when I lived in Paris. I made the mistake of selecting "Chaud" when I did my first load of tidy-whities and didn't realize that "chaud" meant boiling until steam was belching out of the dispensers. Never seen laundry get so white in my life but, of course, all the elastic in my underwear melted. I was hooked. The spin wasn't bad either.

I think I did see one of those Miele

Machines on eBay Kleinanzeigen, go give a peek And I wonder if that machine was a bolt down machine

Here's the 421 on eBay Kleinanzeigen.

www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de...

This machine is older than the one in the brochure. The one in the brochure is a 421S, one of the differences is the electronic dooropener vs the door handle on the 421.

These machines were regular household machines with suspension, no bolt down necessary. And they were heavy!

Spinspeed on these was 700rpm, although I think that some of the last models did 800rpm because I think I remember that from the tag on the machine a friend's mother got. It was one of the last ones of that series, perhaps the original spin motor with 700rpm was not longer made or modified up to 800rpm.

@ QSD-Dan and Gansky:

I'm pretty sure you're both referring to this one in Avocado correct?

The Wilkins Servis 501 with the stainless steel tub and white agitator.

Cheers

I'd love an older V-Zug toploader like in this report about 2 V-Zug washing machines returning to Zug, Switzerland, the place they were made.

if you look at canadien washer ads and saw a 1972 inglis whirlpool washer like this would you have it ship to your country to add to your collection?

Potentially, but considering how much I’ve got in my

Collection already I might have to pass up on it So if it’s also an example or is that your machine?

I would probably have to say the Simplicity 2-speed twin tub washer.
Although the small size wash capacity might get old for me after a while?

Or that Maytag-esque Avocado Green washer with the stainless steel wash basket and white agitator (but I would have the center-dial control panel on that).
🤪😜
