Is that washer a counter/table top model HOOVER portable washer?
And if so, about how big is it? Like a large stockpot?

Hi Christina, it is a tabletop washer. It is 16" high that includes the motor base, and 15" wide. I wash my microfiber kitchen towels in it I can wash 10 towels at a time.

Tabletop washers

Hi Adam, yes other companies made them, Kenmore, Handy Hot, Montgomery Ward, ect. Which I have in my collection. They also came in colors. Red and gray, light gray, green and yellow some of them had the plunger type of agitation like the GM built Frigidaire washers.

Hoover

Michael (aka Maytagmike),

I didnt know ...
... that Hoover did make such small washers, even smaller than their well-known portable twinnies !

Yes, how cool that is. Great vintage. Pretty sure that one you have was manufactured in North Canton. 1960s?
