I have this washer and can say it has been a good performer. I also had another one that I bought in the late 1990's that lasted until the motor finally gave out on it. I've liked both of mine very much. Bob |

I owned two of these and they were both very good machines. The dryer worked well too. In fact, I wish that I’d kept the last one I owned. It was the model that had the controls at the back of the top. I don’t like the new generation of FL’s at all. But these Frigidaires used very little water, weren’t temperamental about going into a spin cycle, had a 1000 rpm spin so clothes dried quickly and even though the capacity was only 3.1 cu. I could still wash cal king sized bedspreads and comforters with no problem.
Just like many things in life, hindsight is almost always 20/20. If the machine your niece is considering is in good condition it could be a very good performer for her. This set looks like it has been well taken care of.
