I found this dryer but don’t know much about it. Looks extremely clean, asking $107. Does anyone know anything about these? I need a dryer as my Maytag is out of service at the moment and wondering if this would be a good buy.

KitchenAid dryers are Whirlpool. The unit of question is a 1990 model-year (W in 8th position). 3rd week (Jan 17-21) of 1994 factory production date (serial D03). It's excellent depending on the overall condition. Moisture-sensor auto dry (with mechanical timer). Four heat temperatures (High, Medium, Low, Extra Low), plus Air Tumble on the timer. A whistler signal when the lint filter gets overly clogged. Drum light. Smooth Guard at end of the auto Permanent Press cycle continues intermittent (a few seconds every 5 mins) air tumble for up to 40 mins after the drying cycle otherwise ends to avoid wrinkles if the items aren't unloaded immediately (opening/closing the door to unload ends Smooth Guard, the timer will continue to advance to Off without the machine running any further). This is one of the best dryers ever built and certainly better than any Maytag dryer ever built.
I pulled this exact dryer into our shop last week and am going to use the control system from it for a custom Whirlpool dryer I am building for my outdoor laundry.
This KA also has an electronic dry sensor.
Is this dryer at 2nd Chance in Baltimore ?, the price label looks like their 3 level pricing, I love 2nd Chance.
