Hey guys,
Not posted in a long time but have had a few machines recently that may be of interest so i've decided to start posting again :-) First off is this Hoover 1400 Heavy Duty top loader washer from the early 90's. Very 90's colour scheme thats for sure. I remember our first house in England had grey carpets with pink accents running through them! Its got a Permasteel cabinet which is a contrast to the cheaper models of this series which had plastic wash decks and lids. More prone to weathering and cracking. The machine uses an agitation style known as Power Pulse, originally designed by Hitachi. Very effective at grabbing most of the load and moving it through the water. Good amount of features which include Soak, which holds the timer as it clicks into the first drain so it soaks until the user is ready to deselect the option and the machine will continue with the rinses and final spin. DripDry which holds the timer at the end of the Deep Rinse and allows the user to remove any drip dry items or hold the machine until they are ready to spin the load. Suds Return will bring back any saved wash water from the laundry sink. Overall a really great machine in my opinion! Does a great job :-) Click the link below for the video! - Matt - CLICK HERE TO GO TO mattywashboy's LINK
