I posted a while back about this dishwasher (see link). I purchased the new wash arm support and a seal/impeller kit, but I only replaced the wash arm support at the time. It worked for a few weeks, but then I noticed that it was leaking out the bottom. There was a fine spray coming from somewhere during the part of the cycle when it sounded like the most spinning was going on. My intuition led me to try replacing the seal and impeller. I think I'm messing with the right part, because I've managed to make the spray worse during the same part of the cycle.
So, I'm a bit lost here. I can only guess that perhaps the seal wasn't pressed in well enough, or that I've messed up the order of washers, etc., and that something just isn't pressed in place correctly. I find the various diagrams I've found not to be very helpful, because they just lump all the washers (shims) together with no explanation. I've tried pulling out the seal and placing it back in, in case that was the issue, but it didn't help.
One thing I noticed is that when screwing done the wash impeller, if I tighten the screw all the way, it causes the impeller to rub against stuff beneath it. I have to loosen the screw until the impeller can spin freely. I don't remember having this problem when I replaced the wash arm support.
Does any of this ring any bells for anyone? I can provide some photos later on if needed.
