Hey Everyone!
I'm a Realtor here in Westchester County, NY and was showing a home built in 1963 and it had what (correct me if I'm wrong) might be an original to the home Waste King Universal Dishwasher. Interesting to note that the panel calls it a "Dishwasher/Dryer". I thought you all might be interested to see! John |

Yup, that was the bottom of the line revised unit at that time. Friends in Dallas had a similar looking BOL that was from 1965--the top rack was a different design and the racks were blue, the bottom rack was just ike this one. Waste King still Dishwasher Dryer ensignia on the panel face on our 1968 WK. Thank you fof taking the time to post this.

Yes thank you for sharing the pictures. That was cool too see. I'm not familiar with this vintage of dishwasher, but it was interesting to see. The racks in the older dishwashers looked neat the way they kept the plates separated with a flip of the tips of the tines(?). I remember seeing one where the tips curled back to keep the plates separate.
Again thanks for taking the time & pictures, and posting them. 😊 |
