This was a common problem on many brands of washing machines where they painted the markings onto a face plate.
Laundry pre-soak and stain removal products if sprayed on clothing on top the machine the spray would soften the paint and make the markings come off. It’s really neat to see the way things like this can be restored a simple machine like this washer and dryer could be kept going for upwards of 40 years without major repairs probably. John L |

I'd love to see more image scans of washer, dyrer, and dishwasher panels (especially vintage ones), wash tubs, agitators, and lid instructions. |
