So I scored. I was finally able to find someone with a near mint timer, knob and harness. What a difference no rust makes. I'm happy. Even if just for the novelty.

I had a whole bunch of PotScrubber harnesses more than 10 years ago but I ended up throwing so much out thinking I no longer needed any of it. Won't make that mistake again.

Hopefully I'll into a good host machine soon. Its been on my list.

Throwing away Appliance wiring harnesses

I sure hope you didn’t actually throw them in the trash copper wire should always be recycled.

And I have about 500 pounds of copper wire that I need to take to the recycler soon I save it for a year or two before selling it.

I regret to say

I was dumb. They should never be thrown away in the trash, I agree. We were moving, and in the haste of it all we just junked what boxes (of items) we thought were going to be clutter at the new place. I also though my interest in appliances was a temporary thing, turns out I was wrong LOL.
