There’s no indication that the people selling them or in any way dissatisfied.
While these are not the machines I would buy for myself I wouldn’t have the regular TC Speed Queen top loader either the age of top loading washers has passed.
There are lots of reasons why someone may be selling these a divorce selling the house moving etc. etc.
We have a lot of customers with these who are quite satisfied with them I don’t recommend them for extremely dirty clothes, I don’t like that one hour cycle times etc.
But one thing seems very likely this is probably the most reliable top loading automatic washer the world has ever seen, and it’s not only extremely well-built it is extremely simple I expect these machines last 20 to 50 years.
And these machines have the longest P&L factory ever offered on a washer and dryer in the US with one exception [ that I know of ] its Another big US brand briefly offered a 10 year P&L warranty, does anyone one remember who and what machines offered this 10 year warranty ?

You got it Melvin, I found one of the washers with a bad top seal and bearing on the recycle pile some years ago and noticed it had a 10 year warranty, was about 9 years old, called GE and they came and put a transmission in it and I sold it.
It was a pretty nice washer, even though these newer GEs were hard to repair compared to the FF machines there sure were quiet and worked much better at cleaning, turnover and spinning.
