My Kenmore 400 DD washer started overfilling today. I took the pressure switch tube off at the bottom of the tub and put air pressure into it and the pressure switch clicked as it should. Any help is appreciated.

Check the tubing completely for any damage and make sure there is no blockage the other way in the tub port. If it’s good the pressure switch is probably the issue.

Thanks Repairguy. It was the pressure switch. Once I got inside the washer, it took 10 minutes to change it. Works as it should.
