I picked these up Friday for $25 each. They really aren’t anything special but I really like these older Kenmore dryers as they were built better. Both work and are in good condition. The Kenmore is a 1988 model built the 52nd week of 1991 and the Maytag was built in July of 1997 and purchased 9-10-97 per the cursive writing on the owners manual.

While I had the Kenmore apart for cleaning I went ahead and replaced both seals on the lint duct assembly. The dryer runs great and nice and quiet as well. I thought I might part it out but it runs too good.

And the Maytag

I cleaned it up today and it runs great as well. I should’ve put a belt on it while I had it apart.

Thanks Glenn. They both came from your neck of the woods.

I have no gas so that's a positive for both you and the machinery.
